Victim Rahul Kumar told that he works under a contractor in Barauni Refinery. He was returning from work on Tuesday evening. At the same time, Pankaj Singh alias Karu Singh of the same village caught him and along with another of his associates started beating him with sticks.
Rahul Kumar told that his younger brother and Pankaj Singh’s daughter were having a love affair for a long time. Both have run away from home several times. But the menstruation would come back after two months. After that Rahul Kumar and his family members handed over the girl to her parents.
Rahul told that this time on February 17, his brother ran away from home and two days later the girl also ran away from home. Raj Kishore Jha had informed Pankaj Singh about his son’s escape and alerted him that once again his son had run away, so take care of your daughter. But after two days the girl also ran away. Since then, Karu Singh was pressurizing Rahul Kumar and his family members to give the youth’s mobile number and call him. But Rahul Kumar and his family had no information about the young man and woman who had run away from home. Angered by this, Pankaj Singh beat Rahul Kumar severely on Tuesday evening.
At present, a written application has been given in Barauni police station regarding this matter. The police have started investigating the entire matter.
